We had a fun and busy week learning about Space! We talked about the sun, moon, stars, and other things that we can see in our night sky.  We discussed the job of astronauts and talked briefly about the other planets in our solar system.  We created a Mission Control Center for our Dramatic Play center and the kids loved counting down to blast off.  We also played with Floam and Moon Sand.  

For our Art project, we used paint and shaving cream to create the Earth.  Before we created the Earth, we talked about ways that we can take care of it, like recycling and cleaning up trash in our community.  Our Science lesson for the week was learning about Day and Night.  We talked about sunrise and sunset and different things we might see during the day and at night.
