This week we celebrated spring! Our hallways are filled with flying kites and bright flowers. It has been a fun and busy week. On Monday, our teddy bears woke up from hibernation. We were so happy to see them after a long winter nap! On Wednesday, the Scholastic Book Fair opened in the library. The students learned about letter Dd and times of day. We discussed primary and secondary colors and how to mix primary colors to make secondary colors. The children used this knowledge to mix their own colors to paint color wheel flowers. We played flower shop in dramatic play using the cash register to buy flowers and seeds. We welcomed grandparents and special friends to school on Friday for a special performance and visit in our classrooms. It was a fantastic week!
