This week we've been learning about winter, winter weather, and the kinds of activities people do in the winter that they don't do in other times of the year. We've been reading The Mitten, by Jan Brett, and learning the story. The children have been lacing mittens, and practicing retelling the story. another focus this week has been counting and number recognition. Mr. Rogers also visited on Tuesday, and the children began to learn another step in programming the BeeBot. Perhaps the most fun, however, was the ICE in the sensory table! The kids loved it, and everyone was anxious to have their turn!
