Farm!

What a fun week it has been in PreK 4, down on the farm!

Our new theme has us learning all about the farm: the animals, people, crops, and tools/machines.
Our children have been building farms at the blocks center (using blocks and Lincoln Logs),
 played in the sensory table with farm animals in the hay, started creating amazing barn scenes in the art center, played farm in the dramatic play center (aka "kitchen"), and read many books about the farm.  We've also begun to learn about the letter Mm, and continued our work with patterns and shapes.  Perhaps the most fun of all has been acting out the book Mrs. Wishy-Washy in a couple of different ways.
