This week we had a visit from Old Man Winter and had to stay home on Monday and Tuesday. When we returned to school on Wednesday we were very busy wrapping up our unit on Fairy Tales! The children worked to complete their fairy tale castle box craft. We studied letter Yy and syllables. We continued our study of fairy tale story elements by using graphic organizers to chart the setting, characters, conflicts and resolutions for the fairy tales we have read. In science we observed and cared for our beanstalk plants. In math we played fairy tale number bingo. It was a short but productive week!
